The Dorm is a mission-driven, client-centered mental health organization bringing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment to young adults, ages 18-30. We are looking for a passionate marketing and research manager to join our multidisciplinary New York City team and mission of making a difference.
The Marketing & Research Manager will support marketing efforts through content development, competitor analysis, and strategic communication and oversee research initiatives, analyze data to drive clinical and operational insights.

What You Will Do:
Assist the development of compelling and strategic search optimized brand content, including web page updates, blogs, case studies, social media posts and other promotional and educational material and collateral.
Tailor content to suit different audiences, ensuring relevance and resonance with each target demographic.
Ensure all written materials align with brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent voice and style across all touch-points.
Assist in the writing of academic projects (i.e., manuscripts, presentations).
Building and maintaining competitor research and marketing library (covering industry social media pages, email newsletters and websites) and contribute to quarterly reports to executive leadership on findings and new insights
Facilitating recruitment and follow-up of all research projects across the organization, which may require direct meetings with clients to administer surveys.
Conducting weekly chart reviews of discharged clients to complete data collection and coding.
Assist in the aggregation and analysis of data for all research projects, including Dorm Outcomes Project, Discharge Data, and Satisfaction Surveys across all key stakeholders (clients, families, referrals, staff).
Co-develop research presentations for staff, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
Quality Control–processing of census information & experience by sharing monthly top line insights by analyzing discharge data, and identifying key trends & SWOT that impact client experience
Miscellaneous research responsibilities including data collection and/or aggregation for in-the-moment statistics that are needed
Miscellaneous marketing and research responsibilities and special projects as assigned by the Senior Marketing Director and Assistant Director, Research & Innovation.
What You Need to Qualify:
Undergraduate degree in psychology, digital marketing, analytics or related field.
1-3 years of experience in research or marketing positions which includes data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Must have a strong understanding of how to run and interpret statistical analyses using various software applications.
Intermediate to advanced comprehension and skillset with excel.
Comfortable writing for various audiences and purposes including academic manuscripts, case studies, thought leadership articles, etc.
Strong collaboration, attention to detail, communication skills and ability to work seamlessly in a fast paced team environment.
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule.
Flexibility to transition to in-person work as required by the position
