Double Shoe Men’s Club is seeking dependable, professional, and alert individuals for our Floor Host (Security) team. This position is vital to ensuring a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for guests and staff alike. Position: Floor Host (Security)
Pay: Competitive Hourly Pay (Based on Experience)
Location: 3625 Highway 146, Bacliff, TX 77518
Schedule: Nights | Weekends | Late Hours Required
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests at the entrance, check IDs, and enforce age requirements
- Conduct visual inspections and light security screenings when necessary
- Monitor the floor for disturbances, safety issues, or guest misconduct
- De-escalate conflicts quickly and professionally
- Remove unruly or disruptive individuals when required
- Communicate with bartenders, managers, and other floor hosts to maintain order
- Assist with closing duties and walk-throughs at the end of the night
- Ensure staff safety and assist in emergency situations
- Maintain a clean, secure environment both inside and outside the venue
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work late nights
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
- Strong presence, great communication skills, and a calm demeanor under pressure
- Able to stand and walk for long periods and manage high-traffic situations
- No ego, no drama — just professionalism, reliability, and respect
