Description
- Perform apartment inspections.
- Price out and gather bidding.
- Maintain property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints
- Maintain building mechanics and operations by supervising repairs and allocating appropriate resources
- Enforcing occupancy policies and procedures
- Prepare and review various management reports including annual budgets, move-outs reports
- Interface with tenants, vendors, contractors and main office
- Work with leasing and collections department as needed
- 7-10 years property management experience in affordable housing and market rate properties, required
- Working knowledge of city, state and federal programs and regulations.
- Experience with 32BJ and/or 621 unions.
- Experience with repairs, maintenance, mechanicals and Local law 11, 87 and 84.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of management, residents, vendors, leasing, accounting and collection departments.
- Proficient computer skills (Windows 7 or higher, YARDI, Microsoft office and outlook).
- Must be able to create and analyze budgets and quarterly management reports.
- Must have excellent project management, organizational.
- Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Strong leadership skills required.
