You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the OpenTable system or similar technology.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and culinary options.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Buss tables and sanitize dining areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, fostering positive guest relations.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food.
- Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
