Resale Store Associate

The Dream Center Resale Store is part of the faith-based, non-profit organization, The Dream Center. The store provides financial support for the ministries of The Dream Center.

Summary/Purpose of Position: MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT HEAVY DONATION ITEMS. This position requires interaction with each customer at The Dream Center so a smile and willingness to go above and beyond for the customer is an absolute must. Other duties will include helping teammates maintain a safe and organized donation receiving area, assist drivers with donation items and customers with loading and unloading of goods, and ensuring that all donated goods are rotated at processing stations to ensure efficient production. This position requires the ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds on a regular basis along with the ability to assist in donation pricing and processing as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a clean and organized donation area/ store floor.
• Creating an environment where donors and truck drivers feel appreciated.
• Assisting trucks when deliveries come in.
• Assisting in loading the floor with furniture.
• Checking, pricing and placing electronics for the floor.
• Ensure that all donated goods are properly pre-sorted, priced, and staged for sale in a timely manner.
• Maintain the donation receiving and processing area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
• Prepare and rotate crates in and out of processing areas to ensure efficiency of production.
• Perform other duties assigned by store managers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.50 per hour
