We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their independence.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary.
- Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and companionship.
- Observe and report changes in client conditions or behaviors to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Implement direct support strategies tailored to individual needs and preferences.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a nursing home setting is preferred.
- Previous caregiving experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient observation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is a plus but not required.
