Local hospital in Lancaster looking for an experienced cashier to work in the cafeteria.
Must be able to work varied shifts and every other weekend and holiday.
Must be able to get clearances and the COVID vaccination, before starting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Promote and upsell products or services when appropriate
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and sales
Experience:
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Knowledge of technical sales, electronics sales, jewelry sales, or wireless sales is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
