Overview
We are seeking an experienced Probate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Probate and Estate matters in the state of North Carolina and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various Probate and Estate issues
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of matters
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Stay current with changes in legislation and regulations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- 3-5 years of experience as a Probate Attorney managing a high volume of cases
- Admitted to practice law in the state of operation
- Strong knowledge of Probate and Estate Law
- Proficient in legal writing, drafting, and research
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
