The Dundee Bistro in Dundee, OR is looking for a talented bartender/server responsibilities to join our growing team and with an interest in Managing during specific days, during GM absence. We are located in the heart of beautiful Oregon wine country at our destination restaurant at 100 SW Seventh St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, professional and hard-working. Must have wine and food service experience along with a well rounded beverage knowledge. This position has autonomy to work within their own area with the option to assist in other areas. Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Answering phones as needed
- Provide adequate and prompt customer resolution
Qualifications
- Valid OLCC and Oregon food handlers certificate
- Proven working experience as a bartender and/or server
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
