The Dunes Golf & Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a full-time Golf Course Maintenance Small Equipment Operator to join our award-winning team. ABOUT THE POSITION
If you're passionate about working outdoors on a world-renowned golf course, then the Small Equipment Operator position will be a great fit for you. Our Small Equipment Operators use power tools (such as push blowers, backpack blowers, weed eaters, and edgers), as well as hand tools (including shovels, rakes, and pitchforks) to keep our course at its absolute best for its membership. Some duties of the job include (but are not limited to) cleaning machinery after each use, reporting all machinery problems to mechanic and/or supervisor, as well as cutting grass, weeds, and bushes. Teamwork is a critical element to the position, as well as professionalism and attention to detail. QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 15 years old. Ages 15, 16, and 17 are restricted to duties as detailed by FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act). Must be proficient with golf course maintenance equipment, including but not limited to pesticides, chemicals, fertilizers, tractors, lawn movers, and weed eaters.
