As a Material Handler, some of your essential duties and responsibilities may include:
- Verifying material and container count of material received
- Forklift operation (stand up/sit down)
- Scanner usage
- Picking and stocking bulk material
- Inspecting products of any inconsistencies, reporting damages to immediate supervisor
- Daily forklift inspections
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Have stand up and sit down forklift experience
- 2-5 yrs. of experience operating a forklift
- Capability of maneuvering in tights spaces
- Possess the ability to operate equipment properly and safely
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Have the capability to work in a fast-paced battery manufacturing operation.
- Possess the ability to handle product and components up to 90% of the shift.
- Have a strong commitment to working safe.
- Possess the physical stamina to walk, stand, stoop, or bend up to 100% of the shift.
