POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Associate Manager Custom Sales & Product Development is responsible for the profitable growth of a portfolio of Custom accounts. They will oversee all aspects of the customer experience and product development process, including: customer relationship management, product sourcing, factory negotiations, and development calendars. They will identify growth opportunities with existing customers and new prospects and execute against these opportunities.
PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The Associate Manager Custom Sales & Product Development will regularly work closely with the rest of the Custom Account Management Team, the Design Team, and the Production Team. They will also work with external customers and manufacturing partners.
TRAVEL:
The Associate Manager Custom Sales & Product Development will travel domestically and internationally, as needed, to visit customers and factories.
EXAMPLE DAILY TASKS:
Support all aspects of the development process, including monitoring all aspects of a development calendar to ensure on-time compliance, maintaining internal systems of record, and communicating regular updates to the customer
Drive research & development to source high quality, well valued, innovative products with current and new factory partners, in conjunction with design and production.
Negotiate with factories on costing and other relevant details
Identify and deliver on revenue and profit targets
Excellent written and oral communication
Excellent understanding of retail, wholesale, fashion industries and markets
Strong business acumen
Excellent merchandising and product instincts; great understanding of brands
Strong analytical skills; comfort with data and retail math
Self-starter and independent learner
2-3+ years of relevant experience
Demonstrates all Echo principles
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
