The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is a leading graduate school of management in Asia. Under the IIM Act of 2017, IIMB is an Institute of National Importance. Its vision is to be a global, renowned academic institution fostering excellence in management, innovation and entrepreneurship for business, government and society.
IIMB is looking for its next Director who will lead the Institute towards its vision.
Applicants must be a distinguished academic with first class degree in both Bachelor's and Master's level, and with a Ph.D. or equivalent from a reputed institution. At least fifteen years of teaching and research experience, of which at least seven years at the level of a full Professor, is required. The ideal candidate will be an eminent academic with extensively published research of global quality, have strong networks in industry and academia, and showcase proven administrative leadership experience.
Eligible applicants must be Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India. The candidate appointed as Director shall hold office for a tenure of 5 (five) years or until s / he completes 70 (seventy) years of age, whichever is earlier.

The Director will be expected to assume office by June 2025 and reside at IIMB's Bannerghatta Road campus in Bengaluru (Karnataka, India).
