The Eddy Hotel is actively recruiting part-time or full time Housekeeping Room Attendants.
- Scheduled days may vary based on business levels and will include weekends
- Weekends required
- We provide training for our team
- Previous Housekeeping is preferred but not required
A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:
Daily responsibilities for this position will include attending and cleaning guest rooms. Primary job responsibilities include:
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, mopping and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and/or special projects
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Check overall room condition and report work orders and repairs needed to supervisor or maintenance
- Able to clean a specific number of rooms/suite during a normal 8 hour shift
- High standards of quality guest service, ability to respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
*Guest service and communication skills *Must be able to stand for an extended period of time *Pushing, bending, stooping, walking, upward reaching, manual dexterity, seeing, hearing *Basic knowledge of the English language to communicate with guests, team members and management *Ability to accurately report information *Ability to follow brand and hotel policies & procedures *Be courteous and professionally at all times *Previous experience preferred but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
The physical activity normally entails the following attributes.
Position is expected to:
- Stand more than 2/3 of the time
- Walk less than 1/3 of the time
- Bend / kneel / stoop more than 2/3 of the time
- Sit less than 1/3 of the time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Push / pull up to 50 pounds
- Lift / push / pull 75 pounds. with assistance if needed
