What You'll DO:
The Part-Time HR Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the HR Department with onboarding processes, employee record management, and compliance with leave laws across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP Workforce Now and a working knowledge of FMLA and various state-specific leave laws.
- Assist in managing the onboarding process through ADP Workforce Now, ensuring new hires are successfully set up in the system.
- Verify and maintain employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Support the HR team in managing leaves of absence, including FMLA and state-specific leave laws, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding onboarding and leave-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to address any discrepancies in employee data.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives as needed.
What You Will NEED:
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
- Familiarity with FMLA and knowledge of state-specific leave laws is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience in a multi-state organization is a plus.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time: 10-15 hours per week
