GM & Plant Manager

Our client, a global manufacturer of nutraceuticals, is seeking a hands-on GM & Plant Manager. Employing a global mindset, the GM will strategically and tactically oversee manufacturing operations, processes and performance for the manufacturing facility based in Houston, TX.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Manage budget planning, production volume, operational costs and investments as aligned with overall company strategy.
- Lead and motivate plant workforce, promoting culture of trust.
- Deliver production output according to plan, quality and cost, monitoring KPIs and implementing corrections.
- Direct overall inventory and supply of raw materials and finished products globally.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory and quality requirements.
- Drive the plant’s strategic agenda and ensure initiatives are planned and implemented.
- Ensure a seamless interface and connection to the broader global organization.
- Champion continuous and ongoing improvements at the facility such as upgrades and efficiency projects.
