Our client, a global manufacturer of nutraceuticals, is seeking a Master Data Manager for their manufacturing operations in Houston, TX. Housed in the Quality Control department, the Master Data Manager is responsible for the creation, maintenance and governance of master data across all systems within the global organization.
Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce quality standards and policies of Master Data ensuring accuracy and consistency across all systems.
- Monitor data quality and work closely with key resources to ensure accuracy.
- Identify needs of improvement in data management processes and implement solutions.
- Enter and maintain Master Data in the ERP systems.
- Facilitate cross department cooperation for input to master data processes, ensuring any changes are part of a change control.
- Maintain Standard Operation Procedures/SOPs related to areas of responsibility in the ERP.
- Provide training as needed for Master Data topics in relevant systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years systematic quality processes in nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical or food industries
- Proficiency in IT systems and digital tools, maximizing efficiencies to maintain quality, control and traceability
- Ability to identify issues and implement process improvements
- Communicate clearly and concisely, while working well with teams in all departments
