Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the success of TEEI's programs and initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with nonprofit governance standards, financial oversight, and legal requirements
- Supporting fundraising efforts, including donor engagement, corporate sponsorships, and grant opportunities
- Building partnerships with corporate, foundation, and community stakeholders
- Representing TEEI at events, networking opportunities, and public engagements
- Attending quarterly board meetings and participating in at least one committee
Requirements
- A strong commitment to educational access and nonprofit leadership
- Experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, finance, legal compliance, nonprofit governance, marketing, or education
- A well-established professional network that can support TEEI's mission through connections and resources
- Prior experience serving on a nonprofit board (preferred but not required)
