This individual will be responsible for expanding and growing the Foundation's Annual Giving Program, focusing on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual and corporate donors who contribute between $1,000 and $100,000 annually. The Director will play a vital role in achieving fundraising goals and ensuring strong, lasting relationships with donors.

- Set and achieve annual fundraising goals for the Foundation's Annual Giving program.
- Develop strategies to meet financial targets, track progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.
- Craft compelling messaging for appeals and coordinate the design and distribution of appeal materials, including digital communications.
- Lead donor stewardship efforts, ensuring donors are acknowledged, appreciated, and provided updates on the impact of their gifts.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit individual donors capable of giving $1,000 to $20,000 annually.
- Develop corporate sponsorship opportunities for events, securing sponsorships between $2,500 and $100,000 annually, and manage post-event stewardship.
- Manage the Impact Society multi-year major gift program, maintaining strong relationships with major donors and securing payments on pledges.
- Utilize wealth screening tools to tailor strategies and maintain a portfolio of prospects capable of giving a minimum annual gift of $1,000.
- Develop fundraising strategies for key events such as the Gala and Volunteer Activist events.
- Assist with event logistics and support the planning and execution of fundraising events.
- Represent Emerge in the community, building relationships at networking events and through active participation in local organizations.
- Collaborate with Board members to identify new prospects and secure new donor leads.
- Support the Executive Director in major gift work, aiding with top donor cultivation.
- Manage grateful family initiatives like the Butterfly Giving Program to foster ongoing donor relationships.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of fundraising experience, particularly in donor development and relationship building.
- Proven success in managing Annual Giving programs and securing corporate sponsorships.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong passion for Emerge's mission and the communities we serve.
- Must pass state and federal background checks.
- Must pass a drug test.
