Position Overview:
Provides holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients with Eating Disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient or residential higher level of care (HLOC) setting.
Schedule:
- Full-time (0.8 FTE): 32 hours/week
- Shift: 2pm-10:30pm
- Rotating weekends required
How Nurses Empower Recovery:
- Performs all tasks and responsibilities associated with floor/staff nurse
- Assesses patient care requirements on each unit and functioning of equipment and needs of nursing team by making rounds
- Develops and implements staffing plan for each shift based on patient acuity, patient census, and available staff
- Consistently follows established safety and infection control procedures and identifies and intervenes in unsafe situations
- Assists Nurse Manager in the maintenance and tracking of supplies and equipment
- Ensures operation of medical equipment by verifying emergency equipment availability and maintaining equipment inventories
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an RN in Ohio
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
- Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (inpatient medical setting preferred)
