Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including dining room, bar, and host/host station
- Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising front of house staff
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize customer flow
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service
- Maintain inventory control and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Coordinate with event planners for banquet and catering services
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or customer service roles
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Familiarity with kitchen management procedures, including food production and inventory control
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
