The Project Manager is responsible to oversee multiple projects across various sites and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring that all objectives are met efficiently and within budget. This role requires expertise in financial accounting, engineering support, customer relations, and strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
1) Multi-Site Coordination
- Oversee multiple project sites, ensuring all teams are aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Coordinate the activities of remote and on-site teams, ensuring seamless communication and progress tracking across various locations.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards at all times.
2) Financial Accounting & Budget Management
- Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasts, and resource allocations.
- Ensure projects are completed within the defined budget and timelines.
- Prepare financial reports and manage cost control processes, working closely with the finance department.
3) Engineering Support Knowledge
- Provide technical leadership and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meeting project requirements and client expectations.
- Work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues, coordinate feasibility assessments, and ensure integration of engineering solutions across diverse project components.
- Ensure that engineering deliverables are produced on schedule and meet defined quality and regulatory standards.
4) Customer Relations & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and project satisfaction.
- Manage expectations and deliver regular progress reports to clients, addressing any concerns or changes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
- Act as a bridge between the technical team and the client, ensuring all parties are aligned with project goals and expectations.
5) Task-Oriented & Deadline-Driven
- Organize and prioritize tasks, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Implement project tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Lead meetings to track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Continuously evaluate project performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex, multi-site projects with an emphasis on engineering or technical domains.
- Proven expertise in budget management, cost estimation, and financial oversight for multi-million-dollar projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, design processes, and technical solution delivery.
- Solid experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Asana) and document management systems.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Expertise in project lifecycle management, from initiation and planning to execution and closure.
- Strong technical background in engineering disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, civil, or industrial engineering.
- Knowledge of risk management processes, change management protocols, and quality assurance practices in engineering projects.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, manage conflicts, and drive collaborative problem-solving to resolve complex project challenges.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and will impact where actual compensation may fall within the stated wage range. The wage range listed for this role takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
