POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an IT Support Assistant to provide essential support to our IT department. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations by assisting with purchasing, billing, and coordinating the setup of internet service providers. They will also be responsible for ticket assignment, conducting regular system audits, and contributing to documentation. Being a liaison between the IT Support team and other departments and external vendors.
Compensation:
Starting pay range of $16-$18/hour *based on experience*

EXPECTATIONS
The IT Support Assistants is savvy with computers and documentation and are eager to use and grow his or her technological skills in various settings.
This role focuses on building team efficiency, documentation of our systems, and asset management. The successful candidate will be responsible for building solutions, implementing new standards, delivering training, and contributing to the development of our overall IT strategy.
IT Support Assistants will play a key role in enabling our innovative work by tackling challenging assignments, leading security initiatives, and taking ownership of their responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities
- Purchasing & Billing: Assist with IT-related purchasing and billing processes.
- Internet Service Providers: Coordinate with internet service providers to establish and maintain connectivity and new and existing sites.
- Ticket Management: Assign incoming support tickets and track their progress.
- System Audits: Perform regular audits of IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Maintain an inventory of computers and devices for TEG use.
- Onboarding, Offboarding & Transfers
- Order new equipment for new hires
- Establish accounts and credentials for each new team member
- Migrate users to new groups when the change departments
- Offboard team members when they depart.
