Description
The Associate, CRM & Email Marketing will play a key role in the execution of retention marketing strategies, focusing on driving customer engagement and retention through targeted email and SMS campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about email & SMS marketing and CRM systems and has a strong understanding of customer journey touchpoints. As part of an integrated CRM team, this role will support a cluster of assigned brands and report to the CRM Strategy Lead for that same cluster.
Responsibilities
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500.00 to $90,500.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.

Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of CRM strategies across email & SMS channels, ensuring content is aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Assist in the creation, QA, and deployment of broadcast and automated email and SMS campaigns
- Regularly track and report on the performance of CRM campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
- Assist with maintaining internal and external content calendars to align with cross-functional teams on campaign timing for product launches, promotions, and overall strategies
- Support A/B testing efforts to continuously improve email performance and optimize customer experiences. Collect and share results with cross-functional Creative teams to align on ongoing optimizations.
- Proactively audit and maintain accurate coding and dynamic content across broadcast and automated touchpoints.
- Create and collaborate on complex ad hoc segmentation needs to support strategies
- Monitor health of CRM channel deliverability and engagement metrics as well as database health and audience segments.
- Provide insights on customer behavior trends and performance to suggest improvements to messaging, design, and frequency.
- Help develop strategies for customer retention through personalized email content and segmentation that drive long-term loyalty.
- Work with the team to increase customer lifetime value by implementing targeted programs like post purchaser series, win-back campaigns, and loyalty reward automations.
- Assist with maintaining customer data integrity and ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
- 2 years of experience in CRM or email marketing, preferably in a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for data analysis and optimization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for compelling copywriting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools and strategies.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or similar.
- Familiarity with Braze or similar ESP is a plus.
- Familiarity with email design best practices and knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Experience with Figma, Photoshop, or similar design tools is a plus.
