Salary : $185,000 - $195,000 DOE 15 days PTO 1st yr M / D insurance 401(k)
Position Summary : An Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) family is seeking an experienced Live In Estate Manager to maintain their private estate in Nassau County, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience working as an Estate Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Maintenance
Serve as a Property Manager to oversee interior and exterior of large home, including swimming pools, tennis courts and carriage house.
On a daily basis, walk the interior and exterior and all structures on property, assess issues and proactively address any necessary repairs and maintenance.
Perform repairs and maintenance on the property.
Advise Principals when specialists need to be hired to address complex repairs.
Oversee housekeeping staff and assist when needed to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
Maintain all vehicles including paperwork.
Security
Oversee property security by ensuring all security systems, including cameras, alarms, and access controls are fully operational and regularly maintained.
Monitor and manage property access, ensuring only authorized individuals (staff, vendors, guests) are permitted on-site.
Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement necessary improvements.
Develop and enforce security protocols for staff, guests, and vendors to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Vendor Liaison
Coordinate with vendors for property repairs and maintenance tasks.
Errands and Driving
Run errands as needed.
Assist Housekeeping staff with laundry and ironing.
Provide driving services for the principals when required.
Budgeting
Create weekly reports of all expenditures for maintenance and repair of interior and exterior.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as an Estate Manager.
Must have prior experience working for UHNW or employers.
Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
Flexibility with work hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
SKILLS
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to perform light repairs and oversee maintenance tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and coordinating with other staff.
