Role Description
This is a contract role for a Setup Teardown Technician, located on-site in Dallas TX. The Setup Teardown Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and dismantling of event equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up stages, audio-visual equipment, tables, chairs, and other event materials. The technician will also assist with the transportation of equipment, ensure the proper functioning of all setups, and maintain safety and efficiency throughout the setup and teardown processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in setup and teardown of stages, audio-visual equipment, and event materials
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic technical proficiency with event equipment
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in event setup/teardown is a plus
