What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escape Room Game Master position at The Exit Games?
Do you love puzzles, mystery, and adventure? Then hosting our immersive escape room adventures might just be the perfect role for you! We're a tight-knit crew looking to expand our team. We're looking for exceptionally enthusiastic, driven, and energetic individuals to join The Exit Games family.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and conversing with guests
- Performing pre-game character intros and ensuring that guests are aware of the overall goal of the room
- "Game Mastering" (or monitoring) our escape room experiences while administering clues to guests
- Resetting of rooms
- General housekeeping/Cleaning of lobby, office, and bathroom areas
- Answering phone calls and accepting bookings
- Accepting payments via walk-ins or over the phone
Qualifications:
- This is a permanent position. You must be living in Wilmington year-round to be considered.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have availability after 2:00 PM Tuesday-Friday and full availability on weekends
- Must be available to work school/holiday breaks
- Must have your own vehicle and valid Driver's License
- Must be EXTREMELY outgoing with exceptional interpersonal skills!!!
- Must have strong problem-solving skills/Must be able to react quickly to potential issues that may arise
- Must have experience with customer service
- Escape room experience is preferred!
Compensation: $13/hr with hourly raise opportunities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
