The Expo Group is seeking an Exhibits Project Manager to oversee multiple exhibit projects, ensuring that each one is delivered with precision and excellence. Based in Irving, TX, this role will be critical to the success of our clients’ events and will require close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to meet project goals.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate all aspects of exhibit projects, including estimates, design, production, and vendor billing.
- Manage client communication, ensuring project requirements are met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, sales, design, and production) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee estimating responsibilities for exhibit construction, graphics, labor projections, and show services.
- Supervise on-site activities, including Installation & Dismantle (I&D), ensuring exhibits are set up properly and meet client specifications.
- Monitor cost-to-revenue ratios, ensuring financial goals are met while managing vendor relationships.
- Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related project management experience, preferably within the exhibit or tradeshow industry.
- Credentials: Certification in project management or related tradeshow fields is a plus.
- Key Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, the ability to read and interpret design and construction plans, and strong problem-solving abilities.
