Job Description:
We are seeking a hard-working, self motivated, reliable Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our Rochester Hills warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will perform a variety of duties that include receiving and processing incoming equipment and materials, and organizing and maintaining the warehouse. The Exterior Painters is a seasonal business and does the majority of its business from April to November.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with owner and management and be responsible for all warehouse operations.
- Responsible for organization and maintenance of warehouse.
- Following safety procedures to prevent damage and accidents.
- Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities.
- Responsible for inventory control and replenishment of construction materials, painting supplies, painting equipment, etc.
- Ability to manage time efficiently with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure within a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of warehouse management experience
- Proficient computer skills for researching and ordering materials and equipment.
- Must have the ability to lift 50-75 lbs and drive an 18 ft box truck, and potentially operate a commercial 4500 low cab forward truck with dumpster (CDL license a plus).
- Ability to operate a Forklift to move large inventory.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
