Location: Based in Alaska — in-person
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
What You'll Do:
Keep Us Running Smoothly
- Manage day-to-day clinic operations, scheduling, and paperwork
- Coordinate staff schedules, track KPIs, and help the team stay on task
- Approve travel expenses, manage inventory, and keep supplies stocked
- Handle patient questions and step in with professionalism when things get tricky
Lead & Support the Team
- Run weekly team meetings to keep everyone aligned and energized
- Host monthly training sessions to help the team level up
- Check in with staff biweekly to offer support and guidance
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and maintaining HR standards
- Be the go-to bridge between the staff and clinic owner
Keep Us Connected
- Work with the marketing team to keep our travel calendar up to date
- Send weekly team newsletters and monthly updates to contractors
- Help craft fun, clear patient communications that keep our community engaged
Drive Our Culture & Growth
- Launch monthly volunteer opportunities for staff
- Find creative ways to grow our impact in rural communities
- Support contract expansion, grant applications, and new partnerships
- Help share our story with the world through outreach and branding
Learn & Grow With Us
- Learn the basics of opticianry and lens technology
- Take part in leadership and industry training
- Shadow doctors and staff to better understand clinical flow
- Stay curious and bring fresh ideas to the table
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who LOVES people, problem-solving, and staying organized
- Office management or leadership experience (healthcare preferred, but not required)
- Confident communicator with a “we’ve got this” attitude
- Comfortable with traveling to different Alaskan communities
- A team player who’s flexible, upbeat, and driven by purpose
