Job Requirements
The Eye Institute of West Florida is seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our team in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource and consultant for nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
- Develop and implement educational programs to promote knowledge and skills among staff members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of Charge Nurse/management experience in an Operating Room, ASC, or hospital setting.
- Experience managing a team of at least 20 direct reports preferred.
- Valid RN licensure in the state of Florida required.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and practice management systems.
