General Summary :
The Chief Risk Officer will oversee the bank’s comprehensive risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the safety, security, reputation, or financial success of the organization. Works collaboratively across department units to maintain a strong risk culture and promote the safe and sound operation of the bank.
Skills and Abilities :
Strong analytical, leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. Strong understanding of regulatory expectations for financial institutions. Familiarity with key banking risks and proficiency in analyzing risk metrics and preparing detailed reports. Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor of Science in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field strongly preferred. Ten years’ experience in risk management, internal audit, regulatory compliance, or banking operations is also strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; see, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift and / or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment :
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The anticipated base annual salary range for this position is $100,000-150,000. The base salary will be determined by factors including but not limited to experience, credentials, education, certifications, and skill level required for the position. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
