The Farm House got its start on the Flying Dutchman Farm in Tryon, NC. Farm owner Patricia Lehner saw the need for a local resource for quality tack and equipment and opened the doors of her family tack room. Customers simply drove up, took what they needed, and added their items to an “Honor Card.” The family’s own tack and supplies (not to mention Dad’s tools!) were quickly crowded out, so they purchased a local feed business and moved the rapidly growing store into its retail space.
More than 40 years later, the Lehner family still owns and manages The Farm House. Shelves of feed have been replaced with an extensive inventory for equestrians of all disciplines, ages, and skill levels. We're honored to serve equestrians across the country through our physical and online stores.
