Bank Deposit Operations Specialist

Responsibilities include

• Assist customers with account-related questions, such as funds transfers, stop payments, debit card inquiries and disputes, and service charges
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all the bank's products, services, and policies
• Update customer information, including address changes and telephone number changes, as well as monitoring maintenance on deposit-related files
• Maintain confidentiality of bank records and client information
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting-related entries on the balance sheet and income statement
• Assist with balancing bank general ledger and bank-owned deposit accounts
• Monitor ACH returns, corrections, and other ACH-related processing
• Process debit card and check disputes
• Compile reports for management
• Gather requested items from auditors and examiners
• Review new deposit account paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Assist with end of year preparation, such as tax form reporting, account corrections, and IRS-related forms
• Support other team members in the Operations Department and serve as the primary back-up to the Vice President of Deposit Operations
• All other duties as directed by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
