What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Sales manager/Business development position at The Fennec?
The Business Development role supports Craft’s on Church Street with their day-to-day catering activities as well as
assisting in common tasks in areas such as marketing and social media.
Craft’s on Church Street is a local restaurant in the heart of Crestline Village known for their fried chicken, excellent
salads, and frozen drinks that will keep you coming back. It has a warm family atmosphere that is always a go-to
gathering place to dine and celebrate family, friends, and businesses.
Job Functions
Catering
- Monthly revenue goal of $15,000 in catering
- Continually expand Marketing Database of customers to call on for new catering orders
- Track progress and call reporting in excel
- Manage existing customer database and contact quarterly to insure continued satisfaction and business
- Call on new prospects to bring in new business to Craft’s and keep updated in call log
- Create, monitor and follow up on Email Marketing Campaigns
- Keep track of all catering orders and update weekly to monthly goal
- Track on weekly excel calendar and verify all information in toast.
- Insure all orders are paid the day of delivery
- Write up orders, print and post on the board in the kitchen
- Keep orders by date on an online file
- Communicate the week’s orders with the kitchen and keep them updated and change paperwork as customers make changes weekly.
- Insure that the billing amounts are updated, correct and paid after all orders.
- Follow up with customers to thank them, make sure that everything went smoothly, obtain feedback and gather dates for future events, meetings or trainings.
Proficiency in toast is necessary in order to lookup history, print and email copies of receipts
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree
5 years’ of work experience or equivalent
Strong organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle heavy workload, mediating many demands and requests with strong problem-solving drive
Ability to work with a team. Communication and professionalism at all times
Experience with Toast Tab (preferred, but not required)
Salary : $15,000
