The Ferraro Law Firm is a rapidly expanding mid-sized plaintiff personal injury firm, actively seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and organized HR Assistant that will work directly with the HR Director to expand our human resources department. Our HR team plays a critical role in ensuring that every employee feels heard, valued, and motivated. Our office is conveniently located in the vibrant Brickell financial district of Miami, Florida.

Qualifications:
- 2-year degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar from an accredited college or university or equivalency (BA is preferred)
- 2 years of experience in human resources or an assistant role.
- Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple projects at any given time.
- Adheres to strict confidentiality, timeliness and accuracy of all related work.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must have strong aptitudes in critical thinking, task management and solution oriented.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with employees of all backgrounds.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and the internet required.
- Basic knowledge of ADP Workforce HRIS is a preferred.
- Law Firm experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives, including firm-wide events, activities, and social gatherings.
- Manage recognition initiatives to celebrate milestones, achievements, and outstanding contributions.
- Serve as a go-to resource for employees, keeping them informed and engaged with HR updates, and firm-wide communications.
- Ensure new hires have a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience, making them feel like part of the team from day one.
- Provide general HR administrative support regarding employee conflicts and complaints, recruitment, maintaining employee records, assisting with benefits inquiries, and coordinating training and development opportunities.
