What are the responsibilities and job description for the TVB Chargebacks Manager (FESCO / TruVolt Brands) position at The Fesco Group?
- AR Chargebacks Manager ($90,000 - $120,000 annual base salary based on skills, experience and perceived potential impact on our business).
- This is a fully on-site role within our headquarter offices in Jersey City, New Jersey. We do not have the budget for this position to relocate candidates, nor to sponsor any candidate for work visas.
- All candidates must submit a resume and have demonstrated experience working with AR / Chargebacks for 5 years within a company that sells consumer products B2B / DTC with major US national retailers.
TruVolt Brands (a subsidiary of The Fesco Group) is looking for a Chargebacks Manager to join its dynamic and growing team of top professionals that manufacture and sell Amazon 1P, DTC and B2B, state-of-the art home, garden and landscaping equipment. The ideal teammate is responsible for:
- Direct automatic and manual compilation of chargeback data
- From payment history
- From customer’s web portal
- Analyze chargeback data by reason code and communicate critical/time sensitive discoveries to senior management.
- Contractual
- Compliance
- Unknown (Error by Customer)
- Coordinate follow-up actions with other functional teams.
- Contractual – validate chargeback amounts based on contracts and ensure no duplicate deductions.
- Compliance – investigate root causes of chargebacks and notify operation team to avoid repeating errors.
- Errors – create dispute ticket at customer’s portal and follow up on reimbursement.
- Leverage outside chargeback recovery resources to maximize recovery potential.
- Track chargeback reserve for financial reporting purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-10 years’ experience working with CPG retailers on chargeback related matters.
- Familiarity with navigating customer’s web portal to find information (particularly Amazon)
- Familiarity with retailer chargeback policies
- Familiarity with supply chain and fulfillment operations
- Verbal/written communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
