Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe and effective medication management.
- Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy professionals, ensuring high performance and compliance.
- Manage the department’s budget, staffing, and inventory to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare staff to enhance patient care and medication safety.
- Stay ahead of industry advancements, regulatory changes, and technological innovations, implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current state Registered Pharmacy License (required).
- B.S. in Pharmacy (required); Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Master’s Degree in a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency with hospital pharmacy systems, spreadsheets, and data management tools.
