Responsibilities
The Personal Banker is responsible for performing a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing time deposit accounts, assisting clients with account inquiries, account/customer information maintenance, and problem resolution.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Presents and explains products and services, receives and processes new client accounts, performs maintenance on existing accounts such as changes to names, addresses, products, and other account maintenance as requested.
- Provides extraordinary customer service while building and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Helps identify financial products and services that meet customer needs.
- Resolves client requests and questions promptly, courteously, and professionally.
- Maintains privacy of customer account information.
- Maintains and projects the Bank’s professional reputation.
- Supports other employees as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Minimum of 3 years Personal Banker or similar experience.
- General knowledge of bank services, products, industry terms, regulations, and account structures.
- Strong work ethic and high integrity.
- Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.).
- Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires long periods of sitting as well as typing and repetitive motion.
