POSITION SUMMARY
The Brand Manager will be responsible for overseeing regional marketing activities and the performance of our brand ambassador team. This role involves ensuring brand consistency, store merchandising, driving brand engagement, and enhancing customer experiences through various promotional activities and events. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for brand advocacy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Events and Brand Promotion:
- Work with the Marketing Director to plan, coordinate, and execute trade shows, promotional events, product launches, and other brand activities.
- Liaison with New York retailers to maintain brand consistency and merchandising.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional and event activities, making recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure brand ambassadors effectively communicate the brand’s message and values to customers.
Team Leadership and Admin:
- Supervise and support a team of brand ambassadors, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with brand objectives.
- Provide training and ongoing coaching to brand ambassadors to maintain high standards of brand representation.
- Schedule and manage shifts, ensuring adequate coverage for events and activities.
- Manage the state’s inventory of displays and SWAG.
Customer Engagement:
- Foster positive interactions between brand ambassadors and customers, enhancing customer experiences.
- Gather customer feedback and insights to inform marketing strategies and improve brand perception.
- Address any customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on the performance of events, brand ambassadors, and promotional activities.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing brand engagement.
- Prepare regular reports for the Field Marketing Manager and other stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team to align promotional activities with overall marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Liaise with external partners and vendors to coordinate events and promotional activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- College diploma preferred
- Previous retail (cannabis) sales experience preferred
- Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to handle a fast-paced work environment Excellent written communion and outgoing personality
- Willing to travel
