What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flight Instructor position at The Flight Academy?
About us:
Founded in 2002 by former Cirrus Aircraft instructors, The Flight Academy is a Platinum Cirrus Training Center that specializes in training the owners and operators of Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft. We are a boutique flight school which doesn’t train in the traditional manner. Our instructors travel to teach clients throughout the United States. We provide private pilot, instrument, transition, commercial training, relocation flights, adventure trips and familiarization flights to our clients. Our specialty is working with busy clients with busy schedules. To do this, we map out a plan to achieve the training objectives, tailor the schedule to our clients’ lives, and then train in full-day or multi-day blocks of time to achieve the objective. Our instructors are among the most experienced professional pilots teaching in general aviation. For more than 20 years we have prided ourselves on our knowledge of high technology aircraft as well as our capability for creating a safe and fun training environment for our clients.
