Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure smooth operations within the office environment. This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable managing various administrative tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. This role is providing administrative support to the Healthy Families Sarasota Program Manager and to the mental health Family Support Team
Responsibilities
- Assist Program Manager/FST Supervisor with daily management activities
- Ensure that program forms and tools are available for home visitors / wrap around facilitators
- Data entry and printing data reports
- Assist supervisors with filing closed cases
- Make travel arrangements as needed
- Order supplies
- Take minutes during meetings
- Record keeping, copying and filing
- Keep list of community resources
- FST - Speak to families being referred to the program, manage intake paperwork, and schedule the initial appointment
- Assist with program events
- Assistance with correspondence, reports, presentations, and other written materials
- Other duties as assigned

- Complies with agency/state/legal mandates for reporting suspected abuse/maltreatment/neglect or person at risk of homicide/suicide to appropriate authorities and completes all necessary paperwork
- Attends staff meetings at the request of the Program Manager / FST Supervisor
- Understanding and support for the values of family-centered services
- Commitment to children’s safety and family stability
- Ability to work in partnership with other team members
- Valid Florida Driver License and full-time access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
- Must be able to meet and maintain the good moral character requirements as required by Florida Statutes
