Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Florida Yacht Club. This role is the first point of contact for members and guests, requiring exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in retail operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and skilled in Microsoft Excel to assist with reporting and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Member Services:

  • Warmly greet members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently and professionally.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, reservations, and event registrations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

Retail (Ship Store) Assistance:

  • Assist members and guests with retail purchases, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the club's POS system.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock merchandise, and assist in ordering supplies.
  • Help set up seasonal displays and promotions to enhance the shopping experience.

Administrative: Tasks

  • Maintain accurate records of sales, membership activity, and event participation using Microsoft Excel.
  • Assist management with data entry, reporting, and analysis to support business operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, data entry, reporting).
  • Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or front desk operations preferred.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management is a plus.
