What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Floral Designer position at The Flower Bucket?
The Flower Bucket is seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team for temporary holiday design positions. Pay is based on experience; experienced designers who can work independently will earn $12 per hour. Inexperienced designers and helpers will earn $10 per hour. This is a great position for learning if you're interested in a floral design career.
Temporary positions will run from April 28, 2025 through May 12, 2025. **You must be willing to work Saturdays & Sundays as part of your schedule**
The ideal candidate will be expected to maintain an organized and clean work space, communicate effectively, arrive on time, and work efficiently to complete tasks. The ideal candidate will be an efficient vase designer as well as funeral arrangement designer. Inexperienced individuals will work on basics that will help our design team like processing flowers, greening vases, gridding vases, and learning entry level design. Must be able to work in team environment as well as independently.
This position will also help out with answering incoming phone calls from our clients, helping walk in customers select their flowers and ring them up. They will also assist with any flower processing and cooler rotation as needed. **You must be willing to answer phones and help our customers**
