Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained during food preparation and service.
- Deliver orders promptly and check back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed during peak times.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of all orders.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
