Job SummaryHouse of Holcomb is seeking a talented and creative Junior Interior Designer/Drafter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing mood boards, floor plans, and realistic renderings that are critical to designing high-end, luxurious spaces for upscale venues and boutique hotels. Extensive Drafting and Rendering experience is required. Working closely with the CEO and Senior Designer, you will translate the design vision from initial concept through to execution, ensuring each project reflects our Iconic Elegance.
Duties
- Create renderings and design boards for review and approval, as well as sales department needs
- Creating CAD floor plans
- Develop initial design sketches, mood boards, and concepts in line with the vision and the space’s requirements
- Sourcing and purchasing FFE and raw materials required to complete the project
- Conduct site visits to assess space availability, design needs, and the purpose of each area
- Attend regular meetings with the CEO and Senior Designer to understand design preferences, including interior styles, colors, and themes
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, decorators, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution and adherence to timelines
Requirements
- 3 years Experience in interior design.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.
- Expertise in layout design, color theory, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, and installations.
- Ability to create realistic renderings.
- Exceptional creativity, a keen eye for design, and innovative thinking.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Established network of trusted commercial and residential vendors.
- BS degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Willingness to travel as required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
