POSITION SUMMARY :
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for safe and efficient daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for a variety of manual tasks associated with acquisition, storage, and distribution of food and other donated products including pulling orders, loading and unloading deliveries, operating warehouse equipment, and general maintenance and cleanup.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
PULL TEAM :
- Pull orders using the warehouse pick list and the FIFO method
- Report all discrepancies to Inventory Manager
- Assist drivers by loading outbound trucks
- Work with accuracy and efficiency in accordance with the Quality Accountability Plan
BAY TEAM :
RECEIVING TEAM :
Employee will be assigned to one of these teams as primary duty, but will be cross-trained and able to assume any of these roles at least 20% of the time.
