JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have supervisory experience
- Have a valid Missouri Class E driver’s license and be insurable
- Be proficient at operating all warehouse equipment and able to train others in their operation
- Have good computing skills
- Have initiative and strong leadership ability
- Be proficient in basic math, have legible handwriting, be able to count product and to train others to do so
- Be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Be flexible and adaptable on short notice
- Have strong superior organizational skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced changing environment
- Have or are able to obtain a current Food Handler’s license
- Be able to work as a team member as well as a team leader
- Be sensitive to the needs of low income people
DUTIES:
- Provide leadership and training to warehouse staff to ensure that all work is completed in a correct, safe, courteous and timely manner
- Oversee the proper rotation of inventory in cooler, freezer and dry floor
- Report any injuries and complete all related paperwork immediately
- Assign personnel to load and unload trucks
- Help to provide supervision and oversight of warehouse staff to achieve the operational needs of TFB
- Coordinate record keeping of equipment maintenance and repair history, including routine inspections
OPERATIONS:
- Responsible for receiving and distributing food according to Food Bank policies, including unloading trucks, pulling orders, and loading delivery trucks
- Responsible for accurate and timely completion of all paperwork, including inventory and receiving logs, pallet tags, transfer sheets, daily and weekly maintenance logs, temperature logs, and time sheets
- Update orders with product added during pick-ups
- Responsible for daily, weekly, and yearly inventories with less than 2% variance
- Responsible for maintaining sanitary, safe food handling practices in the warehouse
- Responsible for compliance with all safety and transportation laws
- Ensure that short shelf life and hard to market is distributed to agencies promptly so as to minimize waste
- Responsible to see that food is distributed on time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
