What are the responsibilities and job description for the Membership & Events Associate | Temp-to-Hire position at The Ford Agency?
The Ford Agency is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the membership and events department of a growing association. This individual will build relationships with members, coordinate a variety of events, support recruitment and retention initiatives and provide excellent customer service. This is a temp-to-hire role with an immediate start date!
Responsibilities Include:
- Build and maintain relationships with members by communicating with them regularly about resources, programs, and answering their inquiries
- Manage the CRM database and update member information
- Plan and coordinate events including professional development, Board meetings, and other receptions
- Provide on-site support during events, help with day-of logistics, and coordinate post-event surveys
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years professional experience in administrative support, fundraising, and/or event planning
- CRM or data management experience highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
