This position will be based out of Green Bay, WI location.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with civil and structural designs to provide detailed AutoCAD drawings for marine infrastructure, waterfront site development, and dredge projects
- Develop base plans of existing conditions utilizing survey point files
- Design for waterfront site development including grading, drainage, utilities, pavement, etc.
- Develop construction plans and surface grading design
- Develop dredge templates and calculate dredge volumes between existing and proposed surfaces
- Develop structural drawings including plans, elevations, sections and details including concrete reinforcement and steel details
- Estimate CAD engineering hours for proposals
- Oversee and QC engineering work of others (e.g. drawings, calculations, designs, etc.)
- Document and update drawings for record (“As-Builts”)
- Coordinate with other project disciplines as required
- Associate degree in Civil Design, or a similar technical discipline
- Expertise using 3D design tools (Specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and communicate on multiple projects
- Knowledge of current ACI industry standard detailing practices for concrete design
- Knowledge of current AISC industry standard detailing practices for steel design
- Structural design background
- Waterfront civil infrastructure and dredging experience
- Consulting engineering experience with private and public clients
